PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for multiple glass which has a conventional function that the inside air layer of the multiple glass is kept in a drying state, does not occure deformation strain in a primary seal of the peripheral part of the multiple glass due to the expansion or the shrinkage of a multiple glass air layer with the temperature fluctuation by the repetition of heating and cooling of the multiple glass under a practical use environment and also does not occure adverse effect such as the deterioration of mechanical characteristics or the deterioration of water vapor permeation performance, and to provide the multiple glass and a method of manufacturing the space for the multiple glass.

SOLUTION: The spacer 3 of multiple glass includes a hollow interval holding member 4 and a moisture prevention layer 5. The moisture prevention layer 5 is arranged to cover a site facing the outside of the hollow interval holding part and a part from a site facing the outside of the hollow interval holding member 4 of the moisture preventing layer 5 to a site where the hollow interval holding member 4 is opposed to a glass plate 2 is formed into a glass deformation following part 5a following the deformation of the glass.
