PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire 11 capable of surely preventing omission of attachment of a suspension cord 14. SOLUTION: In factory shipment, one end of each suspension cord 14 is fixed to a luminaire body 12, and a mounting fitting 45 for mounting a light control body 13 is attached to the other end of each suspension cord 14. In construction, since the suspension cords 14 hang down from the luminaire body 12 with the luminaire body 12 installed on a ceiling, necessity of attaching the suspension cords 14 to the light control body 13 can be easily recognized, and omission of the attachment of the suspension cords 14 can be prevented.
