PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing type base isolation device excellent in rust prevention function and capable of always smoothly moving. SOLUTION: A rolling element 4 is intervened to be freely rolled between a base plate 2 and a bearing body 3 positioned above the same. A rust prevention surface treatment layer 11 is provided on a raceway surface 2a on which the rolling element 4 rolling on an upper surface of the base plate 2.
