PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety valve device capable of being controlled concurrently with a control valve without interfering with pilot pressure which controls the control valve. SOLUTION: The safety valve device comprises the control valve CV2 for controlling an actuator 15, and a valve mechanism A to be opened/closed depending on the change-over operation of the control valve CV2. The valve mechanism A has a valve member 17 which is controlled depending on the change-over position of the control valve CV2. A pilot pump PP is connected to the valve mechanism A so that pilot pressure from the pilot pump PP operates on the valve mechanism A. When the control valve CV2 is changed over to a position of lowering the load of the actuator 15, the change-over operation of the control valve CV2 serves as a trigger to open the valve member 17.
