PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant velocity universal joint, capable of easily expensively attaining suppression of shaking of a rolling element in torque transmission. SOLUTION: The PCD clearance formed between a ball 4 and a track groove 1a of an outer ring 1 or a track groove 3a of an inner ring 1 is regulated to 0.3 mm or less, and a porous solid lubricant 10 is sealed in an area where the axial position is regulated by a pocket 5a of a cage 5 within the space enclosing the ball 4, or within the space formed by the track groove 1a formed on the spherical inside surface of the outer ring 1 and the track groove 3a formed on the spherical outside surface of the inner ring 3. The porous solid lubricant 10 is a solid matter containing a lubricating component including lubricating oil and a resin component as essential components and made porous by foaming of the resin component, in which the lubricating component is stored within the resin.
