PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building foundation structure which contributes to the simplification of an underground foundation structure and the reduction of the amount of underground excavation. SOLUTION: The building foundation structure is constructed in such a manner that continuous footings 5 formed at lower portions of building external peripheral walls 1 along the walls are decentered from the building external peripheral wall 1 toward the building planar center. In the building foundation structure, the building external peripheral wall 1 is designed so that the bearing reaction of each continuous footing 5 is borne by a flexural capacity of the building external peripheral wall 1 at a location immediately above the continuous footing 5.
