PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in conductivity and a cap for fuel tanks obtained by using the thermoplastic resin composition and to provide a method for producing the thermoplastic resin composition, excellent in productivity. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises a polypropylene resin, a polyamide resin, a compatibilizer and a conductive carbon black in which DBP oil absorption amount is in a specific range and BET specific surface is in a specific range and particle diameter and particle size distribution measured according to a sieving method are each in a specific range.
