PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded conductive resin article in which fibrous carbon substance is well dispersed without a large amount of an organic solvent and whose physical properties are easily controlled, and to provide its production method. SOLUTION: This molded resin article containing a fibrous carbon substance in the resin is characterized by containing the fibrous carbon substance in an amount of 0.5 to 4.0 mass% and having a relation of expression (1): -4A+18≤B≤-9A+38 (1), wherein A is the content (mass%) of the fibrous carbon substance; and B is the surface resistance (Ω/sq.) of the molded resin article.
