The invention relates to the collective games of questions and answers and may be used for conduction of interactive competitions, quizes, entertaining and cognitive games for a large number of mobile communications users. The method of interactive game is realized in the mobile communications system by sending short messages (SMS) and consists in that first the organizers of the game transmit by means of mass media the information about at least one contact telephone number and the code of acceptance of the participation in the game. The participant in the game sends the code to the contact telephone number and enters into the game. The participant in the game having called up is registered under the telephone number, then he is transmitted the information about the task consisting of a question and several numbered variants of answer, one of which is right and the participant in the game transmits the answer to the organizers by setting the numbers. The evaluation of each answer is carried out by comparing the transmitted numbers with the right answer numbers, then it is carried out the integral evaluation of the answers, which is communicated to the participant in the game together with the following task, and there are selected the winners according to the predetermined criteria. The time spent by the participant in the game for the answer is unlimited. The participant in the game ends and/or resumes the game at any time without change of the integral evaluation of the answer. During the integral evaluation equal to zero points the game does not end. The interactive game is ended, if the participant in the game leaves the question without answer. Resumption of the game is realized by means of transmission by the participant in the game of the code of acceptance of the participation in the game to the contact telephone number. The code of acceptance of the participation in the game consists of a series of letters and/or numbers.
