The invention refers to medicine, namely to the metabolic syndrome detection to children. The method, according to the invention, consists in that in the saliva it is determined the level of cholesterol, phospholipids, glucose and where the level of cholesterol is equal to 0,5à0,6 mMol/L, of phospholipids 0,06à0,07 mMol/L and of glucose 0,11à0,16 mMol/L it is detected the metabolic syndrome.
