PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic toner excellent in mold releasability and developability even when an alkylene bis-fatty acid amide is contained. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic toner contains a polyester-containing binder resin, a clay organic complex obtained by intercalating a quaternary ammonium salt into a clay mineral, and an alkylene bis-fatty acid amide, wherein a content of the clay organic complex is 0.05-5 wt.% in the toner.
