PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system or the like wherein a user can correctly and easily connect a mobile apparatus mounted with a wireless LAN. SOLUTION: The information processing system includes: a storage step S403 wherein when an apparatus mounted with a wireless communication means not registered to a wireless network is going to connect to an access point, the ID of the apparatus mounted with the wireless communication means is stored; a distribution step S404 for distributing an ID log via the wireless network; a comparison step S407 wherein when the apparatus mounted with the wireless communication means is going to connect to a printer to which the ID is distributed in the distribution step in an adhoc mode, the ID of the apparatus is compared with the distributed log; and a warning step S408 for raising a warning when the ID is coincident with the log as a result of the comparison in the comparison step.
