PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication network system and an error verification method for realizing efficient communication by properly discriminating a cause to an error represented by received status information and taking an optimum countermeasure in response to the error cause. SOLUTION: In the communication network system, each node 10 on a network respectively acquires the received status information items (border violation information and frame status information) from over three slots; a received object slot and two adjacent slots located adjacently before and after the received object slot, and verifies the presence/absence of the received object slot and the error cause on the basis of the received status information items associated with the three slots.
