PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain an appropriate mutual linkage between a key top and a link member against the detaching force in a key switch device equipped with a gear link type link member for guiding and supporting a key top. SOLUTION: A key switch device includes a link supporting member 34 mounted on a key top 14 to rotatably support a pair of link members 16. A pair of link members 16 include teeth engaged in a gear engagement manner and a pair of rotating pivots 46 to be rotatably connected with a link supporting member 34 at each one end of the link member 16. The link supporting member 34 includes two pairs of bearing holes 36 to hold respective moving pivots 46 of the pair of link members 16. Each bearing hole 36 is formed as a through-hole without any notch on its periphery. A plurality of claws are provided on the internal surface of the key top 14 to detachably and fixedly hold the link supporting member 34 in a predetermined place of the link supporting member 34.
