PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clarify and make it possible the solution for especially effectively exhausting dust and steam accumulating in a region of a paper delivery device, especially air containing the vapor of organic medium. SOLUTION: This sucking mechanism is employed for the paper delivery device of a sheet processing machine or for sucking air from the side upper edge region of a sheet pile (BS) formed in the paper delivering device and is equipped with an air removing device, which is opposite to the side upper edge region and has a removing opening part extending in the longitudinal direction of the sheet pile.
