PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet molding apparatus capable of simultaneously performing roll molding of a resin sheet and forming a deep uneven fine structure on the surface. SOLUTION: The sheet molding apparatus transfers the fine structure on the surface of the resin sheet while molding the resin sheet. A main roll 11 has an outermost layer 11b on the surface 11a of which the fine structure to be transferred is formed. A following roll 12 is rotated by being separated from the main roll 11 at a specified distance, and presses a resin fed between it and the main roll 11 to mold it into the resin sheet. The main roll 11 has a heat insulating layer 14 on the inside of the outermost layer 11b on which the fine structure is formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
