PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction type electric hair clipper capable of sucking a mass of hair at a time without blocking an air passage with hair and collecting cut hair into a sucker without scattering the cut hair around. SOLUTION: In the suction type electric hair clipper, a cylindrical handle part 1 has a cut hair suction air passage 5 inside, an electric hair clipper equipping part 12 is set on the outer surface, and the lower end is configured so as to be opened to communicate with a sucker. A connection part 3 is front-rear slidably equipped with a door 23 with a guide plate 22. A suction case 4 is formed into a box shape opened at front and rear lower sides and is set so as to be enabled to spread a floor member 36 rearward from a hair suction port 35 by a guide shaft 31. The connection part 3 is made so as to be positioned at a rear side of the floor member 35 by fitting an electric clipper 2 to the cylindrical handle part 1, attaching the connection part 3 to the upper end of the cylindrical handle part 1, and engaging and assembling a snapping projection 20 to a rack 33 of the suction case 4.
