The method for processing of food in a processing container, comprises vibrationally subjecting the food in the processing container for a time period and mechanically mixing the food in the container. The processing container is transferred by a mechanism for generation of vibration. A vibratory device is arranged in the processing container. The vibration frequency is changeable and varied between 5-150 Hz. The output converted into vibrations and the direction of this vibration are changeable. The produced oscillations are changed during the processing of food in a pre-determination manner.
