DOUBLE-TYPED SECONDARY BATTERY

A secondary battery of dual structure, and a battery module of high power and high capacity containing the secondary battery as a unit cell are provided to increase capacity compared with identical size and to lower a manufacturing cost by decreasing the amount of used sheet members. A secondary battery(100) of dual structure comprises two electrode assembly accommodation parts(A, B, 210, 220) continuously in a battery case(200), wherein a cover part(230) having the size corresponding to the size of the accommodation part(A) is extended at the one side of the one accommodation part(A), electrode assemblies(300, 310) are mounted on the each accommodation part(A, B), the cover part is bent to cover the accommodation part(A), the part between the accommodation parts(A, B) is bent so as to allow them to face each other, and the contact part(240) is sealed.
