A display device is provided to emit heat from a driving chip to the outside through a heat emitting part and a projection to prevent the performance of the driving chip from being deteriorated. A backlight unit(100) has a first bottom plane and first side walls(120) extended from an end of the first bottom plane. A display panel(200) is placed at an upper part of the backlight unit and displays an image in response to an external control signal. A top chassis(300) has a second bottom plane and second side walls(320) extended from the second bottom plane, combining the first side walls with the second side walls to be opposite to each other to fix the display panel at the backlight unit. A printed circuit board(400) provides the control signal to the display panel and is located between the first side walls and the second side walls. A flexible printed circuit board(500) is combined with one side of the display panel and one side of the printed circuit board, and connects the display panel with the printed circuit board electrically. A driving chip(600) is mounted on the flexible printed circuit board to be opposite to the second side walls, and provides a driving signal to the display panel in response to the control signal. A heat emitting part(700) is formed at an upper part of the driving chip to emit heat from the driving chip. |
