Sulfonamide derivatives, insecticides for agricultural and horticultural use, and usage thereof

Disclosed are sulfonamide derivatives represented by the general formula (I) or salts thereof, wherein the variables are as defined in the specification; insecticides for agricultural and horticultural use containing these sulfonamide derivatives as the active ingredient; and usage thereof. These compounds exhibit excellent insecticidal activity against pest insects resistant to existing pesticides even when applied in dosages lower than those of similar pesticides.
