AN ALTERNATOR FOR A VEHICLE

An alternator for a vehicle is provided to prevent ground between both poles by clamping a lead wire protruding from a terminal unit and to simplify an entire working process by omitting an ultrasonic wave process when connecting the lead wire and a field coil. An alternator(1) for a vehicle includes a cylindrical shaft(30), a rotor assembly(40), a terminal unit(35), and a rear fan. The cylindrical shaft has a shaft in a vertical direction. The rotor assembly includes a rotor coil(41) and a slip ring(31). The rotor coil is installed to be fixed to the middle of the shaft. The terminal unit is formed outside the slip ring. The rear fan is formed in a disc shape in a direction vertical to the shaft. The rotor coil is received at a groove unit by passing through the lower side of the rear fan and protrudes to the terminal unit by passing through the inside of the slip ring.
