METHOD OF TESTING USB APPARATUS AND SYSTEM THEREOF

A method and a system for testing a USB(Universal Serial Bus) device are provided to reappear the same error situation as real situation, and simulate the same internal signal and device state as RTL(Register Transfer Level)/NET(NETlist) simulation by converting a USB packet trace output from a USB host into a host model code. A storage device(140) stores an expression-token table including expressions to be included in the USB packet trace and tokens corresponding to the expressions, and a syntax tree forest generated based on at least one token corresponding to the expressions to be included in the USB packet trace. A token generating module(110) receives the USB packet trace from the USB host(210) and generates at least one token corresponding to the received USB packet trace on the basis of the expression-token table. A syntax tree determining module(120) determines a syntax tree corresponding to the generated tokens based on the syntax tree forest. A host code generating module(130) generates the USB host model code corresponding to the determined syntax tree.
