<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water generator for obtaining a large amount of clear water by effectively using waste heat of a diesel engine; to obtain a clear water spray injection device used in a diesel engine for reducing the amount of NOx contained in an exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: The water generator uses waste heat of a scavenging air cooler in a diesel engine. The scavenging air cooler is installed so as to connect with a scavenging air chamber, and the water generator which receives seawater, and evaporates and distills the seawater under a reduced pressure is installed. A heat exchanger pipe is installed between the scavenging air cooler and the water generator to generate water by using the waste heat of the scavenging air cooler. In the device for spray injection of clear water to a diesel engine, clear water generated by the above means using the waste heat of the scavenging air is sprayed from the water generator into the scavenging air chamber through a discharge pipe, or directly injected into a cylinder from the water generator through the discharge pipe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
