<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch operation modes by a very easy operation in information processing equipment which uses a touch input device, such as a tablet as an input device. <P>SOLUTION: An input processing method of a device, which performs input by a touch operation to an operation surface, is constituted so as to be equipped with a step for detecting the number of times of continuously generated touch operations, and a step for determining corresponding mouse operations according to the detected number of times.
