PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an electric power steering device capable of obtaining comfortable steering performance by suppressing disturbance vibration in the whole area of a frequency band area of disturbance. SOLUTION: The control device for the electric power steering device is provided with a torque system control part 110 for operating a steering assistant instruction value based on steering torque generated on a steering shaft and a vehicle speed and determining a current instruction value for performing torque control using the steering assistant instruction value; and a motor system control part 120 for controlling a motor for giving steering assistant force to a steering mechanism based on the current instruction value. In this case, an SAT presumption part 117 or an SAT measurement part for determining an SAT value; a transmission function part including a band pass filter for inputting the SAT value; a phase adjustment part for phase-adjusting an output from the transmission function part; and a gain part for varying the output gain of the phase adjustment part are provided, and the output of the gain part is added to the current instruction value.
