PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of reducing both of peak level noises and overall noises in a pneumatic tire with a variable pitch array. SOLUTION: When variable pitches are classified into a plurality of groups (S, M, L) according to a tire peripheral length, an absolute value of a difference between an average pitch length of one group and an average pitch of the other group is 3-30 mm. In at least one group of the groups (M group in the drawing), the pitch length of any pitch belonging to the group is different from the average pitch length (P<SB>M</SB>) of the group. When an absolute value among the absolute values of the differences of the average pitch lengths is denoted as X, the pitch length of all of the pitches belonging to each of the groups (M group) is adjusted to take a value in a range of±10% of the minimum value X using the average pitch length (P<SB>M</SB>)of the group as a reference.
