PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a C-terminal fragment of the NC1 domain of Type IV collagen ofα1 chain,α2 chain andα3 chain suspending in vivo growth of tumor, or inhibiting formation of blood capillary in some in vitro models including endothelial tube assay. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the protein isolated from a group comprising the NC1 domain ofα1 chain of the Type IV collagen, the NC1 domain ofα2 chain of the Type IV collagen, a fragment, an analogue, a derivative or a variant of the same, wherein the protein, fragment, analogue, derivative or variant of the same has the anti-angiogenesis activity.
