PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building structure material suitably utilized at the joining region or the like with a diagonal member especially in a roof truss frame and comprising laminated wood advantageous even from the aspect of strength. SOLUTION: The building structure material 11 comprises the laminated wood obtained by additionally laminating and bonding a processed layer 3, which can be notched corresponding to the joining form with another member, to the outermost layer at least on one side of a symmetrical different grade constitution part 2 laminated from an inner layer over an intermediate layer, an outer layer and the outermost layer so that the grade of a lamina becomes high stepwise. Since a required cross-sectional capacity is secured by the symmetrical different grade constitution part 2, the processed layer 3 can be handled as a part not included in material quality and can be obliquely notched or cut off corresponding to the joining state with another member 5.
