PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication robot which communicates with a person without giving a sense of incongruity. SOLUTION: The robot communication robot 10 includes eyeball portions 76R, 76L, and eye cameras 46R, 46L are arranged in the eyeball portions 76R, 76L respectively. An object position such as the person or a specific object in an image obtained from the eye cameras 46R, 46L is detected, and the eyeball portions 76R, 76L are displaced so as to face toward the direction of the object. Thus, the communication robot 10 changes the posture to make eye contact with the person or steadily gaze at the direction of the object. In addition, the eyeball portions 76R, 76L are displaced with the movement of a head portion 42, such as turning the line of the sight in the direction of the movement of the head portion 42 when the head portion 42 moves.
