PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device of a vehicle capable of securing data reliability of an occurrence frequency of stopping or restarting an engine stored in a nonvolatile memory, by restraining a writing-in frequency of the nonvolatile memory. SOLUTION: A control unit automatically stops the engine when an idle stop performing condition is realized, and also restarts the engine when an engine restarting condition is realized. The occurrence frequency of stopping or restarting the engine stored in a volatile memory is stored in the nonvolatile memory, in a state of having risk of dissipating data on the occurrence frequency of stopping or restarting the engine stored in the volatile memory, by storing the detected occurrence frequency of stopping or restarting the engine in the volatile memory, by detecting the occurrence frequency of stopping or restarting the engine.
