PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales data processing device capable of easily subtracting sales data for returned commodities by utilizing a storage means such as an IC tag provided in an individual commodity and easily discriminating whether or not a commodity whose payment has been already made, that is, or not a purchased commodity. SOLUTION: According to this sales data processing system 100, in an entrance terminal 2, an IC tag reader 28 reads IC tag data of an IC tag provided in a commodity brought in by a customer, and when purchase date information is read as IC tag data together with commodity identification information as the IC tag data, these pieces of information are transmitted together with a customer number of the customer to an exit terminal 3.
