The vehicle roof (1) has three opening roof parts (4,5), which are displaced in a closing position next to each other, and are displaced for releasing of lateral central longitudinal axis of the vehicle exposed roof opening in an opening position in the area of central longitudinal axis partially over one another. Two lateral roof pillars (6) are provided as opening parts, where one roof pillar is displaced on the other, at a guidance (15) for the release of a lateral opening towards the central longitudinal axis.
