<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective layer transfer sheet which, when a protective layer is heat-transferred to a print to protect an image, forms a glossy image if an image receptor is glossy paper and a non-glossy image if the image receptor is non-glossy regular paper, can obtain a semi-glossy image of a silk tone if the image receptor is semi-glossy paper of a silk tone, and makes an image whereto the protective layer is transferred high in scratch resistance and good in cutting in the end of the protective layer. <P>SOLUTION: In the protective layer transfer sheet in which the protective layer and an adhesive layer are laminated in turn on a substrate, the thickness of the substrate is 1-6 μm, the thickness of the protective layer is 1.0-2.0 μm, and the thickness of the adhesive layer is 1.5-3.5 μm. The protective layer comprises an acrylic resin having a Tg of 80-95°C and an acrylic resin having a Tg of 100-105°C.
