<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control output of a fuel cell stack without being restricted to a driving range in which the cell is not deteriorated, and realize performance improvement at the time of system starting. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system (10 ) has the fuel cell stack (20) that includes one or more cells in which a fuel gas and an oxidizer gas are electrochemically reacted so that electric power is generated, and a controller (50) in which an output voltage and an output current of the fuel cell stack (20) are controlled. In the controller (50), a deterioration amount of the cell at the time of system starting is detected, while reversed electrode is allowed within a certain range not exceeding a prescribed allowable deterioration, and the output current and the output voltage of the fuel cell stack (20) are controlled up to the maximum output current taking as the upper limit that can be drawn out from the fuel cell stack (20). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
