<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terrestrial digital broadcast receiver which acquires the same packet as a missing packet independently of a server even on occurrence of packet missing in demodulation of a received radio wave. <P>SOLUTION: A terrestrial digital tuner 2 extracts a signal with a particular frequency from high frequency digital modulation signals including video audio data and outputs a transport stream (TS). When a packet causing a reception error is present in the transport stream, the terrestrial digital broadcast receiver discards the packet and requests another receiver to transmit the same packet via a LAN card 19.
