<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating apparatus which can constitute jaws into a shape in response to the application purpose, realize the reuse, a low cost, and in addition, which can surely perform the clotting and the incision of a living body tissue over a short period of time, and shows a high usability. <P>SOLUTION: Forceps which are used for this treating apparatus have a pair of the first and second jaws 10 and 11 which are openable/closable to each other on the distal end section. The treating apparatus has a tissue pressing section 27, a receiving member 28, and a plurality of electrode sections 19 and 20. The tissue pressing section 27 is provided on the surface section of the first jaw 10 being confronted with the second jaw 11, and has a comparatively dull shape having a wall section 26 which is formed in a manner to protrude to the second jaw side. The receiving member 28 is provided on the surface section of the second jaw 11 being confronted to the first jaw 10, at a position being confronted to the tissue pressing section 27. The plurality of electrode sections 19 and 20 are provided at least on one of the first jaw 10 and the second jaw 11 so that a high-frequency current can flow to a living body tissue which is compressed by the tissue pressing section 27 and the receiving member 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
