<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional raw material inventory management system in ready-mixed concrete manufacturing plants wherein an inventory quantity monitoring device must be installed in the silo, the inside of the silo must be completely emptied for that installation, and that installation is difficult for the silos of the plants under operation though it is easily performed for the silos of the newly constructed plants before operation. <P>SOLUTION: In this inventory management system, a manufacturer and a raw material supplier share delivery and inventory data on the quantity of each raw material used for manufacturing a ready-mixed concrete. The inventory quantity of the cement in ready-mixed concrete manufacturing plants can always be managed by adding/deducting the quantity of the delivered raw material to and from the used quantity manufactured. The supplier delivers products with a most efficient distribution so that the ready-mixed concrete manufacturing plants can eliminate the need of inventory control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
