<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the image formation of high image quality by inhibiting the generation of moire associated with the arrangement of LED elements and the lighting control of the LED elements, and to improve cost performance and reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes an LPH (an LED printer head), which is constituted by linearly arranging a plurality of LED elements in a main scanning direction and time-sharingly lightens the plurality of LED elements in a predetermined set period in series, and forms an electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive body by the LPH based on image data. The screen angle of the image data in the LPH is determined based on the lighting history inclination counting K calculated based on the lighting order in the time-sharing lighting of the LED elements, the lighting time interval of between the LED elements, the pixel pitch of the LED elements in the main scanning direction X, and the relative moving speed relative to a face to be exposed facing the LPH in a sub scanning direction Y, and the angleθobtained from the following formula:θ=tan<SP>-1</SP>K. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
