PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can easily and stably produce a stretched thermoplastic polyester resin sheet excellent in tensile strength, a tensile modulus of elasticity, heat resistance, etc., by pultrusion extension. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the stretched thermoplastic polyester resin sheet, an amorphous thermoplastic polyester resin sheet is pultrusion-extended at a constant speed by being passed between a pair of rolls whose temperature is adjusted to be (the glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic polyester resin - 20°C) to (the glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic polyester resin + 20°C).
