PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent liquid container which can decrease a pressurization volume of a closed chamber. SOLUTION: An ink cartridge 1 comprises an ink pack 3 provided with an ink derivation section 8 which derives the ink held in a flexible bag 7 to the exterior and a cartridge case 5 which holds the flexible bag 7 in a closed chamber and pressurizes the flexible bag 7 in the closed chamber by a pressurized fluid supplied into the closed chamber, thereby supplying the ink held in the flexible bag 7 into an ink jet recorder connected to the ink derivation section 8. A presser member 17, which is held in the closed chamber with the flexible bag 7, fills the empty space around the flexible bag 7 and regulates the movement of this flexible bag 7, comprises a presser member main body 18 consisting of a resin material of low gas permeability and formed in a hollow structure in which one surface turns into an open surface, and a film material 19 which carries out the airtight encapsulation of the open surface of this presser main body 18.
