PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool, preventing a cutting liquid from scattering on the floor in removing the cutting liquid adhering to a material to be cut in a machining vessel and taking out the material to be cut from the machining vessel. SOLUTION: This machine tool includes: a spindle 2 having a cutting tool 7 mounted at one end, which is rotated with the cutting tool to cut the material to be cut disposed in the axial direction; and a propeller fan 10 mounted at one end of the spindle to generate an air current directed to the material to be cut disposed in the axial diretion with the rotation of the spindle.
