USE OF QUINOLINE DERIVATIVES AS ANTI-PROTOZOAL AGENT AND IN COMBINATION PREPARATIONS

The invention relates to the use of particular quinoline derivatives as anti-protozoal medicaments for human or veterinary application. The invention more particularly relates to the use of said quinoline derivatives for prophylaxis and/or treatment of a disease caused, in particularly, by protozoa belonging to the Apicomplexa or Flagellata groups. The invention also relates to combination preparations comprising said quinoline derivatives and at least one further anti-protozoal agent and the use thereof for the prophylaxis and therapy of protozoal infections.
