PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commercial message program attractive to a viewer, and to promote the viewing of a commercial message. SOLUTION: A recording device 1 comprises: a commercial message selector 33 for selecting a plurality of commercial messages having common attributes from commercial messages included in broadcasting indicated by broadcasting data recorded in a storage medium as the component of the commercial message program; a configuration selector 34 for selecting program configuration data conforming to the commercial message selected by the commercial message selector from the program configuration data for defining the program configuration of the commercial message program; and a program synthesizer 36 for synthesizing the commercial message program by following the program configuration data selected by the configuration selector, thus generating a commercial message program using the plurality of commercial messages as components.
