摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that many bubbles easily remain in glass which is used for a coating of a white LED element. <P>SOLUTION: The method for production of fluorescent substance-dispersed glass is characterized in that powder of a sintered product obtained by sintering a mixture of powder of glass to be dispersed with the fluorescent substance and powder of the fluorescent substance is dispersed into the molten state glass to be dispersed with the fluorescent substance. Wherein the glass to be dispersed with the fluorescent substance is essentially comprised of, in mol%, 40-53% of TeO<SB>2</SB>, 0-10% of GeO<SB>2</SB>, 5-30% of B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 0-10% of Ga<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 0-10% of Bi<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 3-30% of ZnO, 0-3% of Y<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 0-3% of La<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 0-7% of Gd<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, and 0-5% of Ta<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
