<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video telephone system which can be reduced in necessary recording capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The video telephone system comprises a telephone network and video telephone devices that maintain video telephone communications between them by supplying sound signals and video signals to the telephone network. Further, the system is equipped with a video signal fetching means that selects one of the video telephone devices responding to a selecting instruction, and fetches in video signals supplied from the above video telephone device; a recording means that successively records the video signals which are fetched in; and a selecting instruction supply means that supplies to the video signal fetching means the selecting instruction that the video telephone device whose sound volume is the largest is selected as the above video telephone device, whenever the video telephone device is detected whose sound volume of the supplied sound signals is the largest. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
