<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin for paper coating, paper-coating composition, and recording paper coated with the coating composition, by which the same level of light resistance and water resistance as those of a conventional paper-coating resin are provided, yellowing of a white paper part of recording paper is not caused, while the recording paper is stored for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: A coating composition including a copolymer of inorganic polybasic acid salt of (meth)acrylic amide and an amine compound (wherein quaternary ammonium salt is excluded) is coated as the resin for paper coating on a base paper to obtain a recording paper that has light resistance and water resistance on the printed parts at the same level as the conventional coating composition is used, and obtain the recording paper that is extremely improved in yellowing property, when the paper is stored for a long period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
