<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection, including a series connection or parallel connection or both without an external wiring, when a fuel cell device is constructed to a cell structure in which the membrane electrode assemblies are put between two or more separators. <P>SOLUTION: A both-side separator 1A has a serpentine groove 121A and an internal conductive film 131A, around its corresponding periphery on the front surface of a third substrate 13A, two or more third connectors 139A one of which is connected to the internal conductive film 131A; the others are insulated a serpentine groove 141A and an internal conductive film 132A, around its corresponding periphery on the back surface of the third substrate 13A; and two or more fourth connectors 130A one of which is connected to the internal conductive film 132A and the others are isolated.
