<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability in assembling a frame structure for an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: From the edge of a middle frame 605, a first projection 571 and a second projection 572 project parallel to each other. A plate-like arm 573 extends from the leading end of the second projection 572 toward the leading end of the first projection 571. A restricting projection 575 is integrally formed on the leading end of the plate-like arm 573. On the other hand, a recess 581 is formed in a rear frame 602. When the two projections 571 and 572 and the plate-like arm 573 are inserted into the recess 581, the restricting projection 575 passes under a separation preventing projection 585 on the recess 581 side. The restricting projection 575 and the coming-out preventing projection 585 disposed opposite to each other prevent the coming-out of both the frames. In this temporarily assembled state, both the frames 605 and 602 are connected together using a tapping screw 590 as a fastening means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
