<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device capable of measuring accurately the distance to a detection object without having a complicated circuit configuration for measuring a short distance. <P>SOLUTION: This distance measuring device has a transmission part for transmitting a radio wave by modulating linearly a frequency, a reception part for receiving a transmission wave reflected by the detection object as a reception wave, a detection part for outputting a voltage value based on the transmission wave and the reception wave, and an operation part for calculating the distance to the detection object from the voltage value outputted from the detection part. The operation part stores as a reference value, each inclination of a frequency and a voltage value calculated from at least two or more voltage values acquired from transmission waves and reception waves having two or more different frequencies respectively, relative to each optional distance from the distance measuring device, and when measuring the distance to the detection object, measures each inclination of the frequency and the voltage value from voltage values acquired from the transmission wave and the reception wave having each frequency used at a reference value calculation time, and calculates the distance by comparing it with the reference value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
